Synopsis

A beautiful newspaper heiress has been savagely murdered in the remote beach house she shares with her husband, powerful publisher Jack Forrester. When it comes to light that he has the most to gain from his wife's death, and a witness connects him to the murder weapon, he is arrested. Jack chooses sharp former prosecutor Teddy Barnes to represent him. Teddy finds the holes in Krasny's case, but she also finds a romantic and emotional attraction to her client.
