April One

Armed with a bomb, ex-con David Maltby, disguised as a priest, launches a 17-hour occupation and hostage-taking of the Bahamian High Commission. When the media and the police fail to immediately respond, Maltby makes an unsettling realization: the date is April Fool's. As desperation mounts, a tense war of nerves erupts. Each passing moment edges closer towards what may quickly become an explosive conclusion.
