It's like a drug. At first it's a high you can never get enough of. Then, after time, it becomes just something you have, but take it away or challenge it... and things get interesting. Your world collapses. You're a junkie without your next hit. Before you know it, you'll stop at nothing to get it back.
It's true, Love is a double edged sword. And movies that show the dark side of love are always some of my favourites. Perhaps it's because all of us can relate, walking that tightrope of love vs. insane (or at least know someone else who has.)
I'll admit it - I've had a little devil on my shoulder at times. And I've also looked into judging, distrusting eyes. It's human nature that when something feels too good to be true, it usually is - but that's not the moral of this story. There are happy endings, and there is true love - but thankfully for us - Love stories on DUSK usually don't end so happily.
In my movies, give me infidelity, jealousy, rage, and stalkers. Give me double cross, triple crosses and murder. Cut me with the sword, then tell me you love me. Now that's entertainment!
