Before digital cameras, file uploading, Photoshop and social networking, people would get their photos the oldschool way – by dropping off their roll film at the local photo lab.
Though we would hand over our film to the photo technician without even thinking twice, it’s now kind of creepy to think that someone was looking through pictures of our families, special moments and closest memories.
Seymour (Robin Williams) is a photo technician at a local store. Photography is his passion and he is very dedicated in making sure that everyone’s photos come out to the best of his ability.
His favourite customers are the Yorkin’s, who have been developing photos with him for years. Seymour starts to develop an unhealthy obsession with the family and through their photos, begins to realize that this ideal family might not be picture-perfect after all.
