I have always loved small beach towns. I find there is a certain charm that comes with living by the ocean.

It seems that movies have taken the idea of a small, quaint, tight-knit community by the water, and have turned it into something to fear. The ocean is beautiful, but we never really know what it is capable of.

The Fog takes place in a small beach town called Antonio Bay. While celebrating the foundation of their town, Elizabeth finds an old notebook that belongs to one of the founding fathers. The notebook describes the sinking of a ship and the slaughter of its passengers back in 1871.

Soon after, a fog rolls into town, and with it come angry spirits looking for vengeance.
