What makes the woods so creepy? Is it the quietness? Is it the fact that no one is around? Maybe it’s the feeling of vulnerability because civilization (and help!) seems so far away. Not sure exactly. All I know is that I keep FAR away from any sort of forest/woodland after the sun goes down!
Set in 1965, teenage rebel Heather Fasulo is sent to an all-girls private boarding school by her parents. The boarding school, of course, is in the middle of some woods in New England (coincidently where most of the witch hunts took place).
When Heather arrives at Falburn Academy, she begins to hear voices coming from the woods and soon suspects that her school is actually a cover for a coven of witches.
