Bill Paxton plays a man who believes that God has given him the special task of killing demons on earth. When he explains this to his two sons, Adam and Fenton, Adam can’t believe that his father is willing to murder people, while Fenton believes his father to actually be the hand of God.

When an “angel” tells their father to kill a demon, he captures the person and touches them to see all the sins they have committed. He kills them with no remorse.

After his father has killed three “demons”, Fenton goes to his town Sheriff to report his father as a murder.
