When a famous novelist Paul Sheldon (James Cann) gets into a car accident, he is rescued by Annie Wilkies (Kathy Bates), a nurse who lives in a remote town. She claims to be his number one fan, and is ecstatic when he lets her read his new novel that has yet to be released.

Annie’s helpfulness soon turns to an obsession with Paul. Instead of taking care of his injuries and letting the authorities know that she saved him, Annie is determined to keep Paul with her forever, or until he rewrites the book the way she wants it.

Based on the novel by Stephen King, you can watch Misery tonight at 10:00pm ET.
